  • What is Cognitive Impairment and where can it be seen?
    Cognitive impairment is when a person has trouble remembering, learning new things, concentrating, or making decisions that affect their everyday life. It is commonly seen in conditions such as dementia, developmental disorders, psychiatric disorders, post head injury, mild cognitive impairment, fibromyalgia, and other pain disorders. However, it is important to undergo neuropsychological assessments early to recognize the early signs of cognitive impairments and receive treatment immediately.
  • What kinds of Assessments do you offer?
    We offer a wide range of assessments that can measure your cognitive functions such as attention, memory, language, reading, arithmetic, visuospatial abilities, planning, mental flexibility and intelligence.
  • Is COGFIT for me?
    If you want to assess andenhance your cognitive functions which includes attention, memory, language, visuospatial abilities, planning, mental flexibility and intelligence. This is applicable for anyone, irrespective of age as we have assessments for all age groups.
  • How expensive is it?
    It is completely free of cost! We believe in making psychological testing accessible and available to all.
  • Will we get the assessment reports?
    Yes, we will send the reports of all the tests we administer.
  • Will our reports be shared with anyone else?
    No, 100% confidentiality will be maintained. Only the COGFIT team, our supervisor and you will have access to the reports.
  • What will happen after the testing?
    It is important for us to get a broad understanding of your cognitive functioning. After solidifying the findings and understanding areas of strength and deficits, we can start with rehabilitation, if necessary. Rehabilitation in the form of cognitive retraining will be offered. Rehabilitation through neurofeedback (limited availability) will also be offered.
